You might use your fitness tracker primarily to count actions, but dont ignore your heart-rate metrics– they can tell you a lot about your health. Devices now provide a range of heart-rate measurements, including resting rate, walking rate and irregularity (the variation of time in between beats). Some can be configured to inform you of a possible problem, such as a heart rate that is unusually high, low or irregular. Without getting fancy, however, your standard heart rate alone can be exposing.
