West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice was expected to deliver his State of the State address Wednesday however is instead feeling “incredibly unhealthy” after testing positive for COVID-19. In a declaration from his workplace, Justice said he woke up Tuesday morning with blockage and cough. Results from his PCR test came back positive, Justice stated.

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice was supposed to provide his State of the State address Wednesday but is rather feeling “exceptionally weak” after checking positive for COVID-19. Results from his PCR test came back positive, Justice stated. West Virginia first woman Cathy Justice evaluated unfavorable Tuesday night, according to the statement. West Virginias COVID-19 czar, Dr. Clay Marsh, said he has “full confidence” that Justice will recover rapidly because he was totally immunized and received a booster dose of the COVID vaccine. Justices favorable COVID-19 test came a day prior to he was scheduled to provide the yearly State of the State address.
