West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice ‘extremely unwell’ after testing positive for COVID-19

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice was expected to deliver his State of the State address Wednesday however is instead feeling “incredibly weak” after checking positive for COVID-19. Results from his PCR test came back positive, Justice said. West Virginia very first woman Cathy Justice tested negative Tuesday night, according to the declaration. West Virginias COVID-19 czar, Dr. Clay Marsh, said he has “complete confidence” that Justice will recuperate rapidly since he was fully immunized and received a booster dose of the COVID vaccine. Justices positive COVID-19 test came a day prior to he was scheduled to provide the yearly State of the State address.

” While I was amazed that my test results returned positive, Im grateful to the Lord above that Ive been immunized, Ive been boosted, and that I have an unbelievable support group, especially my loving family,” Justice stated.

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice was expected to deliver his State of the State address Wednesday but is rather feeling “very unwell” after evaluating positive for COVID-19. Justice, 70, who said he is fully vaccinated and boosted, is experiencing moderate symptoms and is self-isolating in the house. In a declaration from his workplace, Justice said he woke up Tuesday early morning with congestion and cough. A bit later on, the Republican governor stated he developed a headache and fever. By late Tuesday afternoon, his high blood pressure and heart rate rose and he had a high fever, according to the declaration. Arise from his quick test in the early morning returned unfavorable. However, results from his PCR test came back positive, Justice said. The governor is receiving a monoclonal antibody treatment to help ease his symptoms.

West Virginia first woman Cathy Justice checked negative Tuesday evening, according to the declaration. Gov. Justices workplace did not immediately respond to a request to comment on how the guv was feeling Wednesday. We need to keep pulling the rope together,” Justice stated.

West Virginias COVID-19 czar, Dr. Clay Marsh, said he has “full confidence” that Justice will recover quickly because he was completely immunized and gotten a booster dosage of the COVID vaccine. Justices positive COVID-19 test came a day before he was set up to deliver the annual State of the State address.
