West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice was expected to provide his State of the State address Wednesday but is rather feeling “exceptionally unwell” after checking positive for COVID-19. Results from his PCR test came back positive, Justice said. West Virginia first lady Cathy Justice evaluated unfavorable Tuesday evening, according to the declaration. West Virginias COVID-19 czar, Dr. Clay Marsh, said he has “full confidence” that Justice will recover quickly because he was completely immunized and received a booster dose of the COVID vaccine. Justices favorable COVID-19 test came a day prior to he was set up to provide the annual State of the State address.
