Thousands Protest Against France’s Coronavirus Health Pass As Stricter Rules Loom

Thousands of protesters took to the streets Saturday throughout France for the fourth successive weekend of rallies versus a requirement for a brand-new pandemic health pass required to go into most services or use public transport. The latest round of protests come after Frances greatest court promoted the bulk of a brand-new law requiring the health pass and for health care employees to be immunized against the coronavirus. Starting Monday, the health passes will be required to go into bars, malls, and restaurants– and to access long-distance travel by train, aircraft or bus. At least 7 million have gotten their first vaccine shot since Macron revealed the health pass on July 12.
