Christine Duval of Bloomfield Township, Mich., won the $2 million grand prize in Michigans coronavirus vaccination sweepstakes.

The program, called the “MI Shot to Win Sweepstakes,” ran from July 1-30 and included the $2 million grand prize Duval won, a $1 million reward and everyday drawings of $50,000 for adults who got at least one shot. Joining the announcement of Mondays winner, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer stated the sweepstakes helped ensure there wasnt a summer dip in vaccination rates.
