Santa Clara County opens vaccination appointments to everyone 16 and older – The Mercury News

SAN JOSE– Santa Clara County on Monday night opened COVID-19 vaccination visits to anyone who is 16 years of age or older and lives or works in the county.
Clients who receive their medical care from the County of Santa Clara Health System can likewise book a shot, according to the countys COVID-19 vaccination eligibility and scheduling site.
Other Bay Area counties that are enabling teens to schedule visits include Contra Costa.
The state, on the other hand, is expected to expand vaccine eligibility to everyone in the state 16 and older on Thursday.
