Orange County womans death after 2nd dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine spurs concern from family – KABC-TV

SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC)– The Orange County Coroners workplace is examining the death of a female who died just days after she got her second dose of the Moderna vaccine.The household says the grandmother was healthy prior to she got her shot, which her abrupt death came as a shock.A discussion with staff at the Orange County Coroners workplace about Griselda Flores death, raised warnings for her kid Richard Cardenas and the family.”They made it appear like this was not the first call that they had,” Cardenas said.Assistant Chief Deputy Coroner Brad Olsen says thats right.Olsen informed Eyewitness News a handful of deaths, including Flores, are under investigation due to the fact that they happened one to three days after the person got a COVID-19 vaccine dose.RELATED: Researchers studying advancement COVID-19 cases of infection after vaccination”That indicates our doctors wish to run some extra research studies, whether it be toxicology, micros or simply an evaluation of medical records to see their treatment course, and try to find those other underlying conditions,” Olsen said.”But we havent concern the conclusion yet that the vaccine had anything directly to do with the causes of death,” he added.Cardenas states his mama was a healthy, outbound, hard-working mother and grandmother.The day after her 2nd shot on April 14 at a CVS shop in Orange, Flores experienced the expected side effects, such as chills, body pains and a fever.”She looked really pale though, and she just said she was worn out, and she was going to go house and sleep,” Cardenas recalled.Two days after her second dose, Flores household states they found her dead in her space.”Im extremely, extremely worried about public security due to the fact that now, its simply like, if my mama died, how numerous other individuals are going to die?” Cardenas said.Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reveals that in the U.S., there were less than two deaths per 100,000 COVID-19 vaccines administered. Death investigations didnt find vaccinations contributed to client deaths.An individual has a greater possibility of dying if they contract the COVID-19 infection, according to California Department of Public Health numbers – 1,660 deaths per 100,000 cases.Olsen says the deaths pending examination date back to January and the decedents, both male and female, received either the Moderna or Pfizer shot.The results of additional studies may come three months after death, possibly longer.”If our medical professionals acknowledge something, anywhere, during the death examination procedure that would lead to a public health or public security issue, we would instantly raise those alarms through our Orange County health care partners,” Olsen said.
