The healthcare facility, less than 30 miles outside Cincinnati, dealt with the father of 3 with its usual covid protocol of remdesivir, plasma and steroids. Smith was experiencing “a duration of relative stability” prior to his condition aggravated July 27, according to the suit, and was sedated and positioned on a ventilator days later on.
