At one point a caravan of cars and trucks pulled to the curb across the street from the demonstration, with indications taped to their sides that check out, “Fascists out of LA.” A group of demonstrators encountered the street to face them, middle fingers extended, however the automobiles drove off prior to the confrontation intensified further.About 10 LAPD officers stood monitor the demonstrators from across the street.Health experts have stated the COVID-19 vaccines are safe, efficient and conserve lives. Anti-mask protesters have also converged near the Huntington Beach Pier in current months.In January, a group of anti-vaccine protesters interfered with operations at a mass COVID-19 vaccination center at Dodger Stadium, prompting some officials to require more security at testing and vaccination sites.There is no blanket rule mandating that individuals get vaccinated in California, but some cities have or are thinking about requiring proof of vaccination to go into certain businesses.
Friday, Los Angeles County provided a new required needing indoor bars, wineries, breweries, nightclub and lounges in much of the county to require proof of COVID-19 vaccination. The mandate needs staff and clients to have at least one vaccine dosage by Oct. 7 and be completely immunized by Nov. 4.
