NFL, NFLPA agree to updated COVID-19 protocols for training camp, preseason –

People who are not fully vaccinated, including gamers, will be prohibited from gathering outside club centers or team travel. NFL gamers who are not completely vaccinated will be barred from going to clubs, bars, houseparty, concerts, etc. Failure to follow the procedures could lead to fines of $50,000 for a first offense.

Completely immunized media members will be allowed to carry out in-person interviews, which was forbidden throughout the 2020 season. In contrast, media members who are not completely vaccinated are disallowed access to journalism box, field, sidelines and locker rooms.

One difference that Pelissero notes might have major competitive ramifications is that completely immunized individual who have actually been exposed to a coronavirus-positive individual will not be labeled a high-risk close contact, so they will not undergo a compulsory five-day seclusion.

For all unvaccinated people throughout travel, collecting with outside visitors in hotel rooms, seeing household and buddies, etc. is restricted.

Though fans will not be permitted to connect with gamers, they are allowed to participate in training school. They need to stay more than 20 feet from Tier 1 personnel, consisting of gamers, and adhere to physical distancing.

Coaches and staff members who are not totally immunized– and do not have religious or medical exemptions– will not be eligible for Tier 1 or 2 status in training school and will therefore not be allowed to work in-person with players. Strength and conditioning coaches, for instance, should be fully immunized to be in a weight space with gamers. Gamers who are not totally vaccinated should work out with their masks on if its an indoor weight room. For coaches who are totally immunized, there will no longer be face coverings needed, which was a trademark of the 2020 season, such as Chiefs head coach Andy Reids face shield or other coaches being fined for not always using theirs.

There will also be substantial changes for members of the media and fans.
