The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) asked states to submit their vaccine circulation strategies by November 1.

As soon as the state has enough vaccine offered in the last phase, health officials stated the strategy is to get everyone immunized rapidly and free. Parts of the state with low vaccinations will be concentrated on.

The first stage would focus on healthcare workers and people considered high-risk.

Massachusetts revealed a draft variation of how they plan to distribute the vaccine on Saturday. According to the draft, the state anticipates to get in between 20,000 and 60,000 doses of the vaccine in the very first phase.

BOSTON (WWLP)– Health officials are already planning how a vaccination will be approached within the Commonwealth.

Phase two will begin access to vaccine for the broader population. To get ready for this phase, the state is expanding its vaccine provider network. Health care service providers that presently do not report immunization information to the state will also be included to offer the vaccine to neighborhoods.
