Thats the bottom line, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky. “First and primary, if you are unvaccinated, we would suggest not traveling,” Walensky said at a White House COVID-19 briefing on Tuesday. Considering that the start of the pandemic, holiday weekends, when lots of Americans generally travel, have actually been a special concern for health officials because they increase the possibilities that the infection can spread widely and quickly. Last year, prior to vaccines were available to the general public, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) screened more than 3 million airline company guests over the Labor Day vacation.
