If youre not immunized, you should not travel over the long Labor Day weekend. If you are not fully vaccinated and decide to take a trip within the U.S. anyhow, the CDC recommends that you take the following safety measures: Get evaluated 1-3 days prior to travel Get checked 3-5 days after travel and self-quarantine for 7 days. Self-quarantine for 10 days if you do not get checked Self-monitor for signs Wear a mask and take other safety measures throughout travel

” People who are completely vaccinated, and who are using masks, can take a trip,” Walensky said. “Although, offered where we are with illness transmission today, we would state that people need to take these threats into their own consideration as they consider traveling.”
