If youre not immunized, you should not take a trip over the long Labor Day weekend. If you are not fully vaccinated and choose to travel within the U.S. anyway, the CDC advises that you take the following safety measures: Get tested 1-3 days prior to travel Get evaluated 3-5 days after travel and self-quarantine for 7 days. Self-quarantine for 10 days if you do not get tested Self-monitor for signs Wear a mask and take other preventative measures throughout travel

” People who are completely immunized, and who are wearing masks, can take a trip,” Walensky said. “Although, given where we are with illness transmission today, we would state that individuals require to take these risks into their own factor to consider as they think about traveling.”
