If You’re Unvaccinated, The CDC Wants You To Stay Home This Labor Day Weekend

If youre not immunized, you should not travel over the long Labor Day weekend. If you are not completely vaccinated and decide to take a trip within the U.S. anyhow, the CDC advises that you take the following preventative measures: Get checked 1-3 days before travel Get checked 3-5 days after travel and self-quarantine for 7 days. Self-quarantine for 10 days if you do not get evaluated Self-monitor for signs Wear a mask and take other safety measures throughout travel

” People who are completely vaccinated, and who are using masks, can take a trip,” Walensky stated. “Although, given where we are with disease transmission today, we would state that people need to take these dangers into their own factor to consider as they consider taking a trip.”
