If youre not vaccinated, you shouldnt take a trip over the long Labor Day weekend. If you are not fully vaccinated and decide to take a trip within the U.S. anyhow, the CDC advises that you take the following precautions: Get evaluated 1-3 days prior to travel Get tested 3-5 days after travel and self-quarantine for 7 days. Self-quarantine for 10 days if you dont get evaluated Self-monitor for signs Wear a mask and take other preventative measures throughout travel

” People who are completely immunized, and who are wearing masks, can travel,” Walensky stated. “Although, given where we are with illness transmission today, we would state that individuals require to take these threats into their own consideration as they believe about traveling.”

People crowd the beach in Huntington Beach, Calif., over the long Labor Day weekend in 2015, months before COVID-19 vaccines were offered. This year, the CDC is advising that individuals who are not completely vaccinated stay house.
