COVID-19 Statistics | Sept. 11, 2020 – Lost Coast Outpost

News release from the Humboldt County Joint Information Center: A fifth Humboldt County resident has passed away after being diagnosed with COVID-19. The person remained in their 70s and passed in the first week of September at an out-of-area medical center. Public Health was alerted through the California Reportable Disease Information Exchange, understood as CalREDIE, as this person kept a permanent residence in Humboldt County but had not been living in the county at the time of death.The total number of county homeowners verified to have actually contracted the infection now stands at 447, after 5 brand-new cases were reported today.Todays alert level stands at 2 or level yellow.
