A Pharmacist Is Charged With Selling COVID-19 Vaccine Cards For $10 On eBay

A Chicago pharmacist has been charged with taking official COVID-19 vaccination cards and offering them on eBay for approximately $10 each, federal district attorneys say. Tangtang Zhao, 34, presumably offered 125 genuine Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) vaccination cards to 11 buyers in March and April. Business 1 administered COVID-19 vaccines and provided vaccine cards to the receivers.

“Knowingly selling COVID vaccination cards to unvaccinated people puts millions of Americans at threat of major injury or death,” stated FBI Special Agent in Charge Emmerson Buie Jr. from the Chicago field workplace. Each count of theft of federal government home carries a potential maximum jail sentence of 10 years.
